Alice Cook House Facilities: A Guide to Where Things Are
 
No matter which section of Alice Cook House you live in - you have access to all exterior doors and all public lounges and facilities.

North BakerBaker Tower

A, B, Big C and Little C, D and E. So many doors! It's a hard building to figure out, but it has lots of charm and amenities:
  • Laundry - Door D
  • Lounges - Door A - TV lounge, Study Lounge, Kitchenette - Door D - Study Lounge
  • Trash & Recycling Rooms: Near the lounge in Door A & in Door B
  • Picnic table in the courtyard 
  • Ping Pong Table- Door A

North Baker

Three floors and lots of fire walls-you can't get from East to West without going up, down or outside. Everything does connect on the ground floor. Amenities include:
  • TV lounge - ground floor (beverage and snack vending machines)
  • Study lounge - ground floor
  • Kitchenette- ground floor
  • Trash rooms are located on the ground floor next to the study lounge
  • Picnic tables on the green to the north 
Cook Wing

A place for all ACH residents to congregate, eat, get mail, sign out games and DVD's. Amenities include:
  • Laundry room - ground floor 
  • Study Rooms- ground floor 
  • Library - ground floor 
  • TV lounge- ground floor 
  • Computer Room (3 computers, 2 printers) - ground floor 
  • Music practice room w/ piano- ground floor 
  • Vending machines and ice machine - ground floor 
  • House Professor and Assistant Dean offices - first floor 
  • Office / Mailroom - DVD and game signouts, lost and found, dead battery recycling, stamps for sale, out-going prepaid UPS pickup, helpful staff - first floor 
  • Dining Hall-Chef Bryan's playground. See website for menus and hours of operation 
  • Pantry - Near the dining hall- Stocked each night at about 9pm. First-come, first served. Please be considerate of your fellow residents and take only one helping. 
  • Common Room - First floor - Great place for group or individual study, fireplace, piano, lots of programs here 
  • Seminar Room-classes held here, private dinners, group and individual study
  • Conference Room- West wing - another great study space
  • Trash/recycling rooms at the end of floor two and trash chutes and recycling bins on floors 3 and 4
  • Kitchenettes on floors 3 and 4
Boldt Hall (Home to the Language House Program)

Boldt Hall
Arabic, French, Mandarin, Spanish and Japanese spoken here. Amenities include:
  • Laundry - ground floor east end.
  • Kitchenette and TV lounge - ground floor west end
  • Study lounge - 2nd floor
  • Trash/recycling bins are available in the new wing loading dock
Boldt TowerBoldt Tower

A private tower for 16 lucky residents. Trash and recycling bins are conveniently located on the ground floor near the custodian closet.
