As Associate Director of in the Cornell Public Service Center, Amy has dedicated herself over the past decade to purposeful work that produces everlasting impact on all constituencies whether they be students, faculty and/or community members. From her leadership to establish student-centered programs such Public Service Center Scholars Program, Public Achievement in addition to supporting faculty engaged scholarship via action research in teaching and practice to delivering collective empowerment initiatives for an improved community health and wellbeing, Amy is a consummate champion of scholarship in action. Recently, she launched a new initiative in collaboration with Cayuga Medical Center that seeks to exposed pre-medical students to the field of medicine for what she refers as a process of instilling and building a culture of “care” into healthcare for future practitioners.
Amy received her educational training from SUNY Binghamton (B.A) and Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations (MILR). She is an avid dragon boater and a proud mother of three children.
