The most important thing you need to know about Anna is that she loves turtles, and will show you too many sea turtle pictures from her recent semester in Hawaii. Anna tries to maximize her time outside and underwater, so she's majoring in Environment and Sustainability, with a focus in Marine Science. Anna transferred to Cornell her sophomore year from Stony Brook University where she studied Marine Sciences and Creative Writing, and is now a senior conducting research on round goby diets. When she’s not dissecting animals though, you can find her either working to take down the prison-industrial complex with Prisoner Express at the Alternatives Library, engaging with students about sustainable lifestyles as a member of Epsilon Eta, or watching the sunset on Libe Slope.

Anna understands that Cornell can be a very difficult transition for many students, and wants to help in any way she can. She’s always willing to lend an ear, sit down for a cup of coffee or tea, go on a run or hike with you, (try to) help you with your orgo homework, and/or send you memes (she especially enjoys animal memes).
