Hi everyone! My name is Karina and I’m majoring in Environmental Engineering. I’m Puerto
Rican, born and raised in Washington D.C. I’m passionate about helping developing areas
become more self-sustainable. When I’m not studying, my hobbies include making art in all
forms, hiking, and going to museums. I also love community work and volunteering, and am a
member of Cornell University Sustainable Design (CUSD) here at Cornell. I’m super excited to
be a URF for Cook House and look forward to meeting new people! I am always here as a
